ABOUT OUR PARK
Strasburg Community Park is a natural park in Strasburg Borough, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The park was designed, developed and is maintained by the Strasburg Community Parks Foundation. Our park began with a vision some residents had of a peaceful, beautiful space where residents and visitors could enjoy nature, hear a concert, hold an event in a beautiful pavilion, or just take a relaxing walk.
WHAT'S SO SPECIAL?
Our park is landscaped entirely with native plants. The walking paths wind through flowers that bloom through the season to provide food and shelter for butterflies, birds and small animals. Native trees provide beauty and shade.
The Park is an all volunteer organization. Hands-on work is provided by community volunteers, and we have fun getting our hands dirty! There are other ways to help as well, including being the part of our concert support crew, taking photographs, or helping with educational activities. Local groups provide great support, but individual help is also welcome and can be done in your own time! Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. Funding for the park is entirely from donations -- your support is most appreciated!
Our "official" name is Strasburg Community Parks Foundation. We are a 501(c)(3)organization.
